I've been in deviantart for awhile now, not because I have any artist ability. But because I have an ability to take interesting photos that many others have enjoyed seeing and using in their "art".  I think of art as creating something out of nothing. A painting is created on a blank canvas, a carving using a rough log. But me I take pictures.

Then my son got me interested in Minecraft a simple mining and block building game. It started out as a fun past time but now it has become our place of working together and creating an imaginary world, such as art is. We both started out making simple block buildings, and funny looking creations. Then we graduated into making a 16 apartment apartment building, where every room was different. All of this using only simple blocks and a few special pieces, much like using lego, only on the computer.

These creations were made using a very small to scale sizing. Then I made a pool table..........a rather large in scale pool table, then a fuz ball table and finally a large pinball machine.  Then I decided to try and connect them together in separate rooms all very large scale.

Anyways now I have a artist talent. I am making something out of nothing and enjoying it..........a lot.

So instead of taking a picture of a flower or a garden, now I am able to create these, and I will be sharing my "art", here for all to see.


I'm not getting rid of any of my old photos, but I probably won't be adding many to them.

Jake the pig is four years old now........he loves cake.

He's mastered the stairs and is some what potty trained.

I'm looking to see if anyone will give him a piece of cake instead of a Llama.........he doesn't even like eating llama.

So if your hanging onto a bunch of points and can't find anywhere to use them.....buy Jake his cake........he will be your friend forever.

Our family loves Survivor the TV series. This weekend we had our Canadian Version.

We ended up with 6 players and a grand prized of $30.

We had to brave the bugs, the sun, the heat, the lack of real foods and .........bloody frogs........yes frogs.

The frogs were quiet during the day.............but at night ...............holy crow........they were so stinking noisy.

My one son in his wisdom, decided to bring among other things.......ear plugs.....it's a long story, they worked great..

Anyways, my daughter stayed, with only her two toes in a notch, for over 10 minutes without touching the ground.

A few of us climbed up a 12 foot pole to touch the top.

Some of them were able to stand holding a full can of ice and water for 58 minutes.....before they moved and spilt it.

We had races and knife throwing and all sorts of things to do.

One slept in a tent, another in a canoe, while 3 slept in a tree fort............yep a tree fort.

This morning a duck actually came up into the tree for to greet us.

Then for some added excitement we had to get a racoon outta the garage and in a cage and get rid of him.

That was enough sun for us, but it was good to get out and have something different to do.

I try for the unusual, everything has a unique way of viewing it, this is my goal.
